Since graduating in 2004 from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, Cara has been able to live and work not only in Victoria, but in Northern Virginia and in Québec as a Massage Therapist. Her travels have allowed her to work in a variety of settings including luxury spas, physiotherapy and chiropractic clinics and in private practice.
Cara works with people of all ages and abilities; and she enjoys the variety that this brings to her practice. From daily stresses and overuse injuries, to whiplash, athletes, expectant mothers, and weekend warriors, Cara prides herself on listening to her patients and customizing treatment to her their ever changing needs. Her therapeutic treatments use a myriad of techniques to help release points of tension and restore optimal balance and function. In addition to her work at Mandala, she has worked as a Massage Therapist for the National Women’s Rugby 7’s Team since 2013. Cara is a member in good standing of the College of Massage Therapists of BC, Registered Massage Therapists Association of BC as well as the Canadian Sport Massage Therapy Association. Outside of work you can find her camping and, exploring the island with her family, bike riding and hiking in the woods, or on one of the many tennis courts around Victoria! |
