Since graduating in 2004 from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, Cara has been able to live and work not only in Victoria, but in Northern Virginia and in Québec as a Massage Therapist. Her travels have allowed her to work in a variety of settings including luxury spas, physiotherapy and chiropractic clinics and in private practice.
Cara works with people of all ages and abilities; and she enjoys the variety that this brings to her practice. From daily stresses and overuse injuries, to whiplash, athletes, expectant mothers, and weekend warriors, Cara prides herself on listening to her patients and customizing treatment to her their ever changing needs. Her therapeutic treatments use a myriad of techniques to help release points of tension and restore optimal balance and function.
In addition to her work at Mandala, she is a Massage Therapist for the National Women’s Rugby 7’s Team, and is working towards becoming a Certified Sports Massage Therapist and completing her Bachelor of Health Sciences degree.
"With many thanks to you for the comforting spirit of care and concern that you (Cara) gave to help me on the road to feeling better. You are truly gifted in the calling that you have chosen and it is the first time that I have felt relief that brought me to tears and the urge to hug the practitioner (I hope you didn’t mind)! I am grateful that I was able to find the path to the door of Mandala and to the hands and mind of you. You made a tremendous difference already to my world that was feeling very uncertain".
