Dallas started her exploration of Chinese medicine when she was 14. She sought treatment for sports related injuries and found the medicine was able to help with much more than pain management.
After a few years at Vancouver Island University studying psychology, it became clear that alternative health was something she wanted to explore further. Having found so much benefit from Chinese medicine when she was young, this seemed the natural progression. She began her pursuit of her Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine Diploma, and officially became licensed with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners of BC as a Registered Acupuncturist in 2013.
Dallas’ interests lay within mental health and addiction including depression and anxiety. She also enjoys including various forms of therapy into her practice including Gua Sha Massage and Cupping. Dallas believes that everyone needs to be aware of their options in regards to health care and that it is her job to assist them on their journey to wellness. Traditional Chinese Medicine is a great modality to treat a variety of illnesses and conditions, including digestive system problems, pain, allergies, and respiratory conditions like the common cold and bronchitis, which are all very common complaints of modern day.
Dallas is also trained in cosmetic acupuncture and is more than able to address these issues in addition to other health concerns. She looks forward to encouraging her clients at Mandala on their own unique journey of wellness…whatever that may be. Through her assistance, clients can rest assured that they will have the support needed with their holistic health needs.
“I first came to Dallas after suffering with severe back pain for over a month. I had been getting massage therapy for about a month with Carly Britton for chronic neck & shoulder pain and debilitating headaches. Carly helped me tremendously. However in between these sessions I injured my back somehow.I continued going however my back was not improving & by Sep 29 it was at the point that it hurt just to touch my skin. It even hurt when my pants rubbed up against my back. My back also began seizing up very badly landing me in the hospital. At this point Carly referred me to Dallas Nye. There was no way Carly would be able to massage me because of how sensitive my skin was. From my first appointment with Dallas she made humongous strides. After only one visit my back & neck were no longer sensitive to the touch & I could move!! It only took about 3-4 visits for me to feel normal again. Thank you Dallas! You are a life saver.”
