Dr. Shirley Graham is a BC registered psychologist with over 30 years experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. In the context of a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment, Dr. Graham uses research-proven therapy approaches to help clients address areas of difficulty and concern with new eyes, energy and tools.
Approaches include client-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), EMDR, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), mindfulness and acceptance based approaches, trauma based therapy, play therapy, parent-child approaches, and solution-oriented therapy.
Dr. Graham received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from UCLA, with an emphasis in Clinical Child Development. Working in both public and private practice settings, she has successfully helped clients with issues such as anxiety, panic, phobias, OCD, depression, mood issues, trauma, grief, loss, health problems, family and parenting issues, educational and attention issues including ADHD, life transitions and situational distress.
