Caitlin graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in August 2019. Within the school she has had the opportunity to work with a very diverse population. With the many different in-reach clinics she has experience treating pregnancy, multiple sclerosis, scoliosis, Parkinson’s and arthritis. She has also been to many outreaches and treated patients with cognitive impairments at The Heights and Nigel House along with geriatric care patients in places like Mount St. Mary’s and Berwick House. Caitlin also really enjoys working with athletes pre and post events and has been to multiple sports outreaches.
In the school clinic she has treated all age ranges with many different considerations. From regular muscle tension and relaxation massage to much more complex chronic pain. Caitlin is incredibly passionate about patient care and helping others reach their wellness goals. She used to suffer from chronic tension type headaches almost every day, after receiving regular massage therapy at Mandala, they drastically decreased in both their intensity and frequency. It was this that lead her on the path of seeking massage therapy as her future career as she wants to pass along the wonderful benefits that massage therapy can bring to people’s quality of life. Caitlin is very excited to continue her career with Mandala which holds a special place in her heart already, and is very eager to continue learning and growing as well as be able to treat the community she has grown up in. |
